Minimum Education & Experience Required:



  1. Licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the District of Columbia.
  2. Master's degree in nursing or related discipline preferred or must be matriculated into a master's program within nine months of employment.
  3. Certification as a CNOR required or obtained within 9 months of hire.
  4. At least three to five years of recent RN OR nursing experience required.
  5. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a R.N. in unit specialty.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate a caring demeanor toward others.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work professionally and collaboratively with others.
  9. Proficient computer skills related to traditional business management functions including Microsoft Office Programs.
  10. Active CPR required
  11. Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching experienced/inexperience or nursing staff and nursing students.
