Aircraft Fuel Cell Technician (Class C)

STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Fuel Cell Technicians (Class C) in Tampa, Florida to join the Tank Tigers team, an STS Aviation Group company. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to begin a rewarding career in aviation maintenance.

As a Class C Aircraft Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance and repair work within aircraft fuel systems. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

• Perform assigned fuel tank maintenance tasks in accordance with the applicable maintenance manual and company procedures
  
• Record all work performed and complete required documentation accurately and promptly
  
• Ensure maintenance operations are performed in the correct sequence and that inspections are requested in a timely manner
  
• Follow all maintenance data and customer requirements to ensure airworthiness and compliance
  
• Use and maintain calibrated tools and test equipment properly
  
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  
• Request parts and materials as needed to complete assigned work
  
• Maintain familiarity with FAA regulations under FAR Part 145 and 43, and understand company Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
  
• Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) and maintain accurate training records
  
• Communicate safety or procedural concerns immediately to supervision
  
• Work flexible hours and perform tasks in confined spaces as needed
  

• Ability to comprehend and perform fuel system aircraft maintenance with training
  
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  

• Entry-level position requiring 0-2 years of aviation fuel maintenance experience
  
• Prior mechanical experience preferred
