We are hiring an experienced, detail-oriented HR Operations Manager to join our team!

As the HR Operations Manager, you will lead the Employee Support team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and support to employees across the organization. You are responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. You will serve as the key liaison between HR Technology, Payroll and HR Centers of Expertise (COEs) to resolve complex employee inquiries and enhance the overall employee experience. You will also take ownership of the development and execution of a long-term strategy and vision for HR service delivery, aligning processes and technology to meet future organizational needs and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong knowledge of payroll regulations, exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. This role requires strong leadership, communication, problem solving along with a deep and natural focus on internal service level and overall employee needs

You will work an on-site work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for the HR Operations Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Over five (5) years of experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and employee support best practices.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet critical HR deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Must be located in the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site.

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Advanced proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS platforms.

  • Ability to analyze service metrics, identify trends, and present actionable insights.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.

  • Experience with HR Shared Services or tiered support models (Tier 1 and Tier 2).

  • Knowledge of case management tools such as Workday Help, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.

  • Exposure to global HR operations and compliance requirements.

As an HR Operations Manager, you will:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Employee Support team, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of employee inquiries.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Workday, supporting troubleshooting, data integrity, and system enhancements.

  • Monitor service metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and quality.

  • Collaborate with HR Technology, Payroll, HR COEs and other stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve complex issues.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for HR support functions.

  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for employees to build capability and engagement.

  • Maintain confidentiality and data security standards for all employee-related information.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $105,000.00-$140,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
