As a PATROL_UNARMED Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies while on duty at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including evacuation assistance and communication with emergency responders.
• Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
