Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Direct and manage multiple quarry and asphalt distribution sites within the region Oversee production schedules, quality control, and maintenance programs to ensure continuous and cost-effective operations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including MSHA and environmental requirements. Financial & Business Management Develop and manage regional budgets, forecasts, and capital improvement plans. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving strategies to meet profitability goals. Identify and execute opportunities for growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency. Sales & Customer Relations Support the regional sales team in developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers. Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and customer feedback to ensure competitive positioning. Collaborate with the commercial team to align production with customer demand and project timelines. Safety & Compliance Champion a culture of safety, enforcing adherence to company and regulatory safety standards. Drive continuous improvement in safety performance across all sites. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and mentor plant managers, supervisors, and other regional personnel. Conduct performance reviews and establish development plans, and direct reports. Promote employee engagement, retention, and a strong performance-driven culture. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Mining,or related field (required). Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in aggregate, mining, construction materials, or related heavy industry. Demonstrated success managing multiple facilities or locations. Skills & Competencies Strong operational and financial acumen. In-depth knowledge of aggregate production, logistics, and equipment. Proven leadership, communication, and team-building abilities. Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and make effective decisions. Proficient with ERP Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and production management software. Work Environment: Frequent travel between regional sites (up to 50% of the time). All drivable Periodic out-of-state travel for business meetings. Combination of office, plant, and field enviroments.
