The Talent Acquisition Specialist on the Technical Recruitment Team will manage a diverse and complex requisition load, often focused on mostly passive candidate pools for entry level to senior level positions within the IT Job Family. This individual will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle from the start of the requisition to the new hires' start date and onboarding. This includes but is not limited to the management of Sherwin-Williams Applicant Tracking System (Oracle Recruiting Cloud), posting job requisitions, extensive sourcing, tracking and interviewing candidates, extending offers, and providing exemplary customer services throughout the process to hiring managers, HR partners and candidates. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is also responsible for providing general/daily maintenance of the Oracle Recruiting Cloud system and communication for all new hires.

This position is located at the Cleveland, OH Headquarters.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Full Cycle Recruitment
    • Create and post job requisitions on time and compliantly.
    • Screen candidates to evaluate if candidates meet criteria of role.
    • Schedule interviews - coordinate with candidates and managers to schedule interviews.
    • Negotiate job offers and compensation packages with candidates.
    • Support the background check and pre-hire process when needed.
  2. Candidate Attraction
    • Identify new and creative opportunities for attracting candidates.
    • Use various sourcing channels and networks to source and attract candidates.
    • Adhere to established brand guidelines.
    • Plan and execute events and outreach efforts.
  3. Business Connectivity + Relationship Management
    • Partner with HR, hiring managers, and other business partners to determine staffing needs.
    • Keep candidates and business partners informed - communicate necessary updates early and often.
    • Provide recruitment training, resources, and best practices to partners as needed.
  4. Advancing Talent Acquisition Objectives + Goals
    • Own the data - use systems and tools appropriately to build trust and accuracy in Talent Acquisition reporting.
    • Track staffing information and updates.
    • Understand and regularly share Talent Acquisition metrics with business partners.
    • Work with peers and colleagues to ensure process standards and best practices are leveraged in all parts of the recruitment process.
    • Identify and share process improvement ideas to ensure an efficient and positive recruitment process experience.
    • Ensure compliance with all local rules, laws, and regulations.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without now or in the future requiring sponsorship for employment visa status
  • Must have 2 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
  • Must have advanced sourcing experience leveraging varying forms of recruitment technology
  • Must have advanced interviewing experience - can identify required skills, experience, competencies, and other job profile preferences
  • Must have experience in presenting routine data in addition to identifying data trends
  • Must have experience in offer negotiations
  • Must have knowledge of recruitment marketing and branding best practices
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of local and relevant legislation impacting recruitment and hiring practices (AAP and OFCCP, in the USA for example)

Preferred:

  • At least 1 year of technical recruiting experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or Sociology is preferred
  • 3 years of full cycle recruiting experience is preferred
  • Prior facilitation of recruitment and hiring of individuals with visa or sponsorship requirements is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Sherwin-Williams organization is preferred
  • Recruiting experience across multiple countries is preferred
  • Experience addressing Talent Acquisition issues and implementing solutions is preferred
  • Experience in offer negotiations is preferred
  • Experience working on Talent Acquisition projects is preferred
  • Experience working with external partners and vendors is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience partnering & collaborating on projects across different functions in a large, global organization is preferred
