As a Security Professional - Distribution Access Control in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned logistics and distribution locations. Your presence and attention to detail help create a secure environment for personnel and assets. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with team members and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related questions and site-specific procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site needs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and the surrounding perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and site-specific guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities as required, including communication with first responders and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
