City Clerk

The City of Yerington, Nevada is seeking to fill the position of City Clerk. This position is a department head and responsible for financial and budget functions of the City, including but not limited to: Compliance with the Nevada Department of Taxation rules and regulations; oversees the payroll and data processing function of the city; accounting and financial record keeping and reporting. An employee in this position is unclassified and “at-will”, serving at the pleasure of the Yerington City Council and reporting directly to the City Manager. Applications will be sent upon request to qualified individuals who at least one (1) year experience in the maintenance of accounting records and demonstrates the ability to interact positively with the public and/or internal or external customers and to oversee the administrative staff of the City.

Starting Salary is $55,000 to $63,500 DOE
