This is a FTE Permanent Direct Hire with regular travel once a month.

Position Overview

Manager of Product Management to lead software development initiatives and serve as the Product Owner for Agile Scrum teams. This role is central to ensuring the delivery of high-quality features and functionality that align with business goals and client needs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and preferably, experience in the homebuilding industry. They should be able to instantly connect the organization's value propositions to client pain points and drive product strategy accordingly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Scrum teams as the Product Owner, guiding development and ensuring alignment with product vision.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and technical dependencies.
  • Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and DBAs to ensure feasibility and optimal solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Make strategic decisions balancing feature delivery with technical debt.
  • Review architecture and database design to ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Manage sprint execution, remove blockers, and facilitate sprint demos.
  • Monitor team velocity and metrics to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Define and communicate product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market and user research, analyze competitors, and stay current with industry trends.
  • Lead planning meetings and set expectations for new feature delivery.
  • Stay up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices and emerging trends.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree
  • Minimum of four consecutive year in a Product titled role working in Agile methodologies and SDLC.
  • Skills in software development using MS technologies (.NET Web Forms, MVC, SQL Server).
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and DBAs.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Leadership & communication ability to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.


PLUS SKILLS

  • Residential construction industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with UI/UX design is a plus.



Estimated Min Rate: $125000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $150000.00
