Responsibilities

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an on-site HR Administrator to support a variety of multi-plant HR tasks in a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Labor Relations Manager, this role provides administrative support across key HR processes including employee record management, new hire orientation, and routine HR reporting. The position requires handling highly confidential, sensitive information; and ensure compliance of all related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support absence and leave programs, including Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and FMLA.
  • Assist with new hire processes, including documentation and presenting during new employee orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper filing of HR documents.
  • Update schedules, attendance codes, and other employee information in HR systems as needed.
  • Run time and attendance reports to support accurate coding and ensure proper payroll processing.
  • Generate routine HR reports and assist with internal audits to ensure compliance.
  • Provide timely reporting and responsive support to employees, supervisors, and HR partners across multiple locations.
  • Manage incoming HR mail, forms, and documentation related to hourly employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years general office or administrative experience, involving confidential information; or possess a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated Office/Computer Systems experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from an accredited institution
  • Previous Human Resources experience.
