Pay Rate: $17.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity in and around the commercial real estate location.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and property management to address concerns and relay important information.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities during emergency situations as directed by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
