The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator will provide vital support to the Clinical Research Coordinator and Senior Clinical Research Coordinator in the day-to-day management of clinical research studies in the Center for Human Nutrition of the Department of Medicine. This role plays an important part in ensuring studies run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive-able to assist with planning, organizing, and prioritizing study-related tasks to meet deadlines and maintain adherence to study protocols. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in clinical research and contribute to advancing medical discoveries.

Salary: $27.08 - $43.55 hourly
Qualifications
Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport, and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Skills sufficient to solve problems and identify solutions
  • Ability to adapt to changing job demands and priorities; work flexible hours to accommodate research deadlines.
  • Ability to concentrate and focus in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli and competing deadlines.
  • Typing and computer skill/ability including word-processing, use of spreadsheets, email, data entry.
  • Ability to navigate numerous software programs and applications.
  • Skill in coordinating information transfer among multiple constituents.

Preferred:
  • Experience in a Health Care Setting
