We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Midland, TX to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment such as forklifts, trucks, excavators and wheel loaders. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our client's continued growth and success.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Pay Rate: $35 - $38/hr. (Depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities



  • Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on heavy equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, service manuals, and use diagnostic software to support repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of services, parts, and schedules in the company's maintenance system.
  • Collaborate with team members in a safety-first environment, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.




Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting forklifts, trucks, and wheel loaders.
  • Skilled in reading schematics, using hand/power tools, and interpreting parts/service manuals.
  • Ability to use computer maintenance programs to track equipment services and parts.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and strong time management required for this senior maintenance role.




This is a direct hire position with benefits offered by our client including:



  • $6,000 hire bonus (paid in 3 installments: $2,000 at first paycheck, $2,000 after 6 months, $2,000 after 12 months)
