Summary of Job Duties:The Education Program Manager supports the Office of Academic Affairs in the College of Pharmacy, assisting with the planning, coordination, and implementation of PharmD program elements. This position plays a key role in managing the logistics and operations of the didactic curriculum, elective and co-curricular offerings, faculty development activities, and internal communications. The Education Program Manager works closely with the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, faculty course coordinators, and education technology specialists. This position is cross-trained in key educational technologies and assessment platforms to ensure continuity of operations and collaborative support but does not hold primary responsibility for those systems. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or other relevant field with four ( 4) years of experience or a master's degree with two (2) years of experience coordinating educational programs or related experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent organization and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates curriculum delivery and maintain academic records

  • Partners with faculty and the Office of Academic Affairs to coordinate the delivery of the PharmD curriculum-including required courses, electives, and co-curricular professional development activities-across academic years and campuses.

  • Maintains curricular documentation such as course schedules, syllabi, mapping tools, and accreditation files to support transparency, alignment, and continuous quality improvement.

  • Supervises teaching assistants and coordinate in-class learning support

  • Oversees the onboarding, training, and support of Teaching Assistants (TAs) to ensure they are effectively integrated into course delivery, especially in courses that use high-structure active learning approaches.

  • Assists directly with classroom logistics (e.g., TBL, POGIL sessions) to help instructors create engaging, learner-centered environments.

  • Supports strategic initiatives and curriculum redesign efforts

  • Helps drive the implementation of major curriculum and accreditation initiatives by organizing materials, documenting progress, and supporting project teams.

  • Assists with the logistics and documentation of faculty retreats, design team meetings, and other working groups involved in shaping our active learning-centered, horizontally and vertically integrated curriculum.

  • Facilitates faculty development and program communication

  • Coordinate faculty development logistics, including scheduling speakers, managing contracts, and providing onsite support for events.

  • Prepares internal communications, faculty bulletins, and website updates to keep stakeholders informed and connected.

  • May perform other duties as assigned.
