What you will do:

This role blends hands-on technical expertise with leadership and customer engagement:

  • HVAC Service Delivery: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and replacements for mechanical equipment at a high-profile customer site.
  • Customer Communication: Act as a liaison between the branch and the customer, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Team Mentorship: Support branch leadership in coaching technicians to improve customer satisfaction and operational consistency.
  • Technical Support: Provide Level 1 support and help develop the technical capabilities of other team members.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all work complies with legal regulations and is performed with integrity.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all required service and project documentation.

How you will do it:

Execution is centered around safety, leadership, and technical excellence:

  • Safety Leadership: Uphold Johnson Controls and customer safety standards; educate technicians and subcontractors on safe practices.
  • Branch Leadership: Serve as a recognized leader and mentor; provide escalation support and on-the-job training.
  • Technical Expertise: Be viewed as a subject matter expert by both colleagues and customers.
  • Operational Support: Help identify material needs and assist in scheduling the right personnel for service tasks.
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate clearly with customers before and after service; meet regularly to understand their needs and recommend improvements.
  • Service Excellence: Deliver work professionally, on time, and with high customer satisfaction.

What we look for:

  • In addition to the technical requirements of the given field, a Service Foreman needs experience where strong leadership activities have been demonstrated.
  • Ability to act independently and to coordinate the work of other employees and contractors on a customer site.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.
  • Able to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.

Pay Range: $39.62 hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement
