OverviewThe Microsoft Global Media Team plans, activates, and manages all paid media investments across Microsoft's product portfolio. We partner with internal product and business groups to deliver innovative, data-driven media strategies that drive measurable business impact. Our team is committed to excellence, inclusion, and leadership in the media industry-pushing boundaries in media innovation, technology, and partnerships. We are seeking a Paid Media Director - Channel Strategy to lead a team of digital media channel specialists across mobile, paid search, paid social, and programmatic media. This leader will work across Microsoft's consumer and commercial campaigns, drive transformation of Microsoft's cross-campaign channel strategies and best practices, foster innovation, build and cultivate relationships with Microsoft's publisher and platform partners, and advance Microsoft's place as a leader in the media industry. This is a strategic role that requires paid media experience, cross team collaboration skills, proven leadership capabilities, a passion for mentoring and developing talent, and the ability to develop and nurture meaningful relationships with stakeholders, media partners, publishers, and platforms. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team in alignment with Microsoft's leadership approach of model, coach, care.Media Experience: Be a trusted digital media advisor with in-depth knowledge of paid media channels including programmatic, paid search, paid social, mobile advertising, and retail mediaBest Practices & Innovation: Lead the specialists team to develop channel level best practices and drive media channel innovation that helps Microsoft achieve its paid media goals with maximum efficiency and impact.Cross-Functional Collaboration and Partnership: Partner across paid media campaign teams and internal stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and product teams to ensure media channel strategies, best practices, and operations align with and support Microsoft's business goals.Industry Leadership: Represent Microsoft in the media industry.
