Job Title: Investment Bank Non-Financial Risk (NFR)

Corporate Title: Associate - Assistant Vice President

Location: New York, NY

Overview

The responsibilities of this role include supporting in the management of non-financial risk and divisional controls for the Investment Bank. This role supports the Americas Investment Bank 1LoD function in developing and maintaining controls within the Firm's sub business line, supporting the Risk and Control (RCA) process to ensure that it is conducted at a level that sufficiently captures the discrete business processes, risks, and key controls and supporting the remediation book of work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have adequate experience in banking, understanding of business controls and/or a background in Non-Financial Risk Management. Additionally, you will need strong project management skills and the ability to interface with 1LOD business owners and 2LOD as it relates to the above-mentioned responsibilities.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for non-financial risk and control management for IB broadly reporting to the IB Divisional Control Officer to include active support to ensure that the business is conducted in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and in adherence to internal policies
  • Support and participate project management of the Americas regulatory remediation book of work (MRIA RCA, MCRP, BSA / AML) which includes coordination with both 1LOD and 2LOD partners
  • Directly support the Americas RCA remediation and Americas RCA BAU book of work in leading coordination of the end-to-end process and controls mapping, demonstrating the RCA is consistently conducted at a level that sufficiently captures the discrete business processes, risks, and key controls (granularity) within the business line on an ongoing basis
  • This role will support the Operational Resiliency Program within the Investment Bank and serve as a though leader as it relates to the detection, prevention, and response to operational disruptions.
  • This role will support ongoing regulatory reporting, adherence monitoring and governance

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $70K to $130K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
