The Opportunity
The Business Solutions Analyst (BSA) at Adobe Business Services will be tasked with fostering a collaborative relationship with Adobe's Revenue Management functional partners to assist in achieving their strategic goals. This position focuses on strategic solutions within Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) as well as essential accounting functions. It aims to connect key business objectives with technical capabilities, thus offering comprehensive integrated solutions, working alongside Multi-functional teams, and Performing substantial implementations and improvements, all while managing priorities and ensuring compliance with established scrum processes.
What You'll Do
- Gather business requirements, build processes, and prototype and configure systems.
- Establish project plans with project managers, work with partners to coordinate expectations, and team up with the delivery team to deliver solutions flawlessly.
- Collaborate with system engineers on system improvements, define functional requirements, and review/approve compositions.
- Collaborate with key team members to identify needs and communicate potential solutions.
- Work effectively and independently on assigned projects.
- Express complex concepts clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Communicate effectively with architects with an open-source orientation.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with architectural, functional, system administrators, and quality assurance team members.
- Prepare test scenarios and conduct system integration and regression testing for system improvements and upgrades to ensure effective delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including business/data requirements, data flows, user stories, process diagrams, and functional builds.
- Provide SAP support, including functional analysis, tracking, and resolution.
- Manage the Scrum Process with Sprint Planning and closure.
- Demonstrate high-level communication skills (verbal and written).
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum 10+ years IT experience in a complex work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience in high-tech or software industry is desirable.
- Experience in Revenue Recognition, Revenue Accounting, US GAAP, IFRS, including full cycle RAR implementation.
- Expertise in S/4 BRIM/SD - RAR integration with a solid understanding of business processes.
- Proficiency in Revenue accounting items, BRF+ rules, SSP & GL accounts determination process.
- Domain expertise and a consistent track record in crafting and deploying solutions in RAR.
- Experience with S/4 HANA RAR CCM & OCM or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in managing and architecting complex business models.
- Experience migrating from SD Revenue Recognition to S/4 RAR.
- SAP Certification is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Core Finance Modules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $107,900 -- $216,300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
