Project Management & Quality Assurance Specialist - Loan Services Location: Irwindale, CA (Hybrid options available) At Rize Credit Union, we're passionate about delivering exceptional lending experiences to our members. We're looking for a Project Management & Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Loan Services team and help us streamline operations, strengthen quality control, and drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do In this role, you'll support strategic initiatives across DMV, Funding, Loan Servicing, and Lending Operations. You'll coordinate projects, monitor performance, and conduct quality checks that keep our lending processes accurate, compliant, and member-focused. While this role doesn't manage direct reports, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track and improvements are implemented consistently. Your day-to-day will include: Project Management & Coordination - Leading and tracking cross-functional projects, keeping documentation and timelines on point, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting & Monitoring - Maintaining dashboards, monitoring trends in performance and error rates, and sharing insights that drive smart decision-making. Quality Control & Compliance - Reviewing DMV documents, funding packages, and servicing transactions for accuracy and compliance, and preparing for audits with confidence. Process Improvement - Identifying gaps, recommending workflow enhancements, and helping develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Serving as a key connector between teams, creating training materials, and supporting change management so improvements stick. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, or quality control (financial services or lending strongly preferred). Familiarity with DMV title processing, loan funding, and servicing operations. Strong project coordination and QA experience, with tools like Excel, SmartSheet, or SCRUM methodology. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. High school diploma or GED required (college coursework or certifications a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and lending/servicing systems. Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus. What You'll Bring A detail-oriented and analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
