What to Expect As the Trade Validations Specialist for Used Car Operations, you will be responsible for auditing ownership details for all incoming trade-ins and managing down our trade-in defect rate in your designated region. You will work with local Sales and Delivery teams to ensure a smooth ownership transfer process for our customers to move out of their current vehicles and into a Tesla. You will ensure quick cash conversion of the trade-in by monitoring trade-in execution error rates and issue trends, presenting the data trends and proposed solutions directly to local management, and conducting site-specific training on the trade-in process/document updates. To guarantee compliance and resolution, you will keep up to date on state-specific DMV regulations and adapt quickly to specific trade-in process changes as they arise. You will be the primary point of contact for Tesla Advisors and your local Sales and Delivery managers. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
