Network Automation Engineer (USA Remote)

The Role
As a Network Automation Engineer with Presidio, you will build and maintain automation for Cisco ACI and Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS) platforms in a large private cloud environment.

Travel Requirements:

This is a remote role (within the Continental US) with no travel required.

Responsibilities Include:

• Communicate effectively with all levels and stakeholders, internally and externally, on complex technical issues
• Participate in an on-call rotation at least 1 week per month and occasional after-hours/weekend work
• Design and automate configurations for Cisco ACI (5.x+) and PANOS (11.x+) using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Diagnose and triage issues in a multi-tenant production network environment.
• Document all implementations and projects in detail

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience
• Previous experience programming or the ability to write scripts well is ideal
• Experience with Automation Management Solutions such as Ansible Automation Platform or HCP Terraform a plus.
• Experience with Cisco ACI and/or Palo Alto PAN-OS (enterprise datacenter network automation preferred, cloud network automation acceptable)
• Willingness to learn quickly, adapt, and work independently
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
• Strong expertise in Terraform and Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of standard networking protocols and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts in writing and verbally to diverse audiences
• Python or Go skills a plus
