The Enterprise ASC Sales Leader, is a leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and market share expansion. This role represents Baxter's portfolio of products, services, and solutions, leading strategic initiatives within the ASC sector across the entire U.S., in access of $55M in revenue.

You will take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs.

In depth understanding of the customer's goals, objectives, and motivation and how to position our solutions is critical in this role. This position ensures that an account strategy is created and implemented.

As our primary connection to the healthcare professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, you are the face and voice of our solutions. You enjoy seeing the connections between teams and how they work together to drive business results. The insights and feedback you share with your team and to cross-functional partners help validate and inform priorities and changes.

What you'll be doing
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share within the ASC sector.
  • Identify, own, build, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at ASCs, including the largest ASC Operators, surgeons, administrators, facility managers and strategic partners.
  • Apply a consultative approach with executives through discovery of key organizational business issues.
  • Responsible for strategic account portfolio development, focused pipeline management, and execution of the integrated sales strategy to achieve revenue/margin targets.
  • Act as a sales leader collaborating with business verticals, Marketing, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Field Sales teams to ensure Baxter and customer goals are met, and value propositions and strategies are fully developed, implemented, and delivered.
  • Ensure alignment with field sales to achieve maximum benefits.
  • Develop strategic account plans and metric-driven, customer-centric QBRs.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and developments.
  • Maintain knowledge of business drivers, clinical applications, and value propositions for all products within the portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations to potential clients highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales data in our CRM system.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 12 years of sales or sales support experience; healthcare or medical device industry preferred
  • Experience in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) market preferred or strong understanding of
  • Full P&L responsibility and/or significant revenue and cost management experience preferred
  • High level of self-motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity, while demonstrating a sense of urgency and comfort with ambiguity
  • Excellent customer orientation and negotiation skills. Ability to review contractual redlines
  • Success leading multi - year complex sales and contract processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate change
  • Exceptional ability to influence and persuade others, with a high level of effectiveness in conflict resolution
  • Consultative and achievement-focused approach
  • Excellent planning, analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail, and leadership skills
  • Successful track record of handling multiple and/or contending priorities simultaneously, with the ability to work independently, show initiative, and serve as a thought leader
  • Sound decision making and creative problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in navigating cross-functional teams and projects, being responsible for activity, developing plans, understanding local market and competitive trends
  • Strong listening skills, adept at grasping and foreseeing client needs in order to offer customized solutions
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 - 187,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
