PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Skier Services Sales Team Lead is responsible for supporting a team of guest-facing agents selling ski lessons, ski rentals, children's center activities, and lift ticket products at one or more of the resort's nine sales locations. They oversee accurate transaction booking and payment processing to ensure excellent guest service across the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of agents that sell and process ski lessons, ski rentals, children's center activities, and lift ticket products
  • Assist, guide, and troubleshoot with agents in entering/updating guest information, selling products, and processing transactions
  • Oversee ongoing station balancing and troubleshoot out-of-balance situations
  • Communicate assigned daily duties, breaks, lunches, policy, and process updates/changes
  • Contribute to and oversee accurate and timely entering of enrollment & assumption of risks agreements by location teams
  • Handle guest problems and alert supervisory team of escalated guest situations
  • Attend and contribute to lead meetings
  • Participate in lead training sessions pre-season and in-season
  • Assist with pre-season new agent training and returning agent training sessions
  • Train agents in-season, in each location on a daily basis
  • Prepare and present staff evaluations and document ongoing performance in agent files to promptly communicate performance issues to the supervisory team
  • Mentor, develop, and motivate sales agents and new leads to promote growth and development
  • Maintain an operational clean and safe sales location, including supply stocking, organization/cleaning, and technology support
  • Assist with sales agent responsibilities when needed
  • Work closely and cooperatively with other resort staff
  • Rotate sales locations to meet business or training needs
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a guest service capacity
  • Previous sales and transaction processing experience a plus, preferably as a sales agent
  • Experience with resort systems, including DVSS and RTP|One
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to lift at least 25 lbs. on an occasional basis
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends and holidays


DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Early November - mid-April
