80% FTE, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with one day off per week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to: Work in collaboration with numerous multidisciplinary teams to help navigate patients and families. Coordinate specialized multi-disciplinary patient care by utilizing specialty knowledge of the pediatric oncology patient population. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Bring their expertise in working with pediatric oncology patients. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required or Associate's Degree in Nursing and achievement of BSN within 4 years of hire Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field Preferred Work Experience 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required 1 year of nursing experience in oncology care Preferred Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin Required Basic Life Support/CPR Required Applicable Oncology certification based on patient population Preferred Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
