80% FTE, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with one day off per week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to:

  • Work in collaboration with numerous multidisciplinary teams to help navigate patients and families.

  • Coordinate specialized multi-disciplinary patient care by utilizing specialty knowledge of the pediatric oncology patient population.

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

  • Bring their expertise in working with pediatric oncology patients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required or
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing and achievement of BSN within 4 years of hire Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
  • 1 year of nursing experience in oncology care Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Required
  • Applicable Oncology certification based on patient population Preferred
