About Visa Corporate Development
Visa's Corporate Development team supports the company's growth strategy through acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnerships. The team works closely with product, regional, and functional leaders to identify opportunities that expand Visa's capabilities, accelerate innovation, and strengthen its position in the global payments ecosystem. Role Overview
The Senior Manager will lead critical aspects of M&A and investment activities, including deal sourcing, evaluation, financial modeling, and diligence, while partnering closely with internal teams and external advisors. This role provides significant exposure to Visa's senior leadership and hands-on involvement in strategic transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market and industry research to identify acquisition and investment opportunities aligned with Visa's strategic priorities.
- Build detailed financial analyses to support decision-making for potential transactions.
- Partner with business teams on strategy development, including evaluating build/buy/partner options and prioritizing targets.
- Manage cross-functional diligence processes, coordinate external advisors, and support transaction execution and integration planning.
- Develop executive-level presentations and materials for senior leadership and internal committees.
- Support ongoing portfolio management and monitor performance of completed transactions.
- Collaborate closely with integration teams when relevant, providing insight on value creation levers and strategic rationale.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- 8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy consulting (preferably with M&A exposure), or 5+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with experience in analyses related merger, acquisition, and investments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing materials for senior executives.
- Strategic thinker with strong intellectual curiosity and ability to synthesize complex information.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams.
- Familiarity with payments, fintech, or financial services industries is a strong plus.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.
