Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Program Manager, Corporate Health & Safety with experience in a Corporate Safety environment, responsible for the development, management, and execution of health & safety related programs and equipment in the oil and gas pipeline, terminals, and refining industry to join our growing team.

Role Summary:

Serving in a pivotal capacity, this individual operates as a strategic leader and catalyst for organizational advancement. Entrusted with end-to-end accountability for critical health and safety programs, they architect, guide, and execute multifaceted initiatives that directly impact Buckeye Partners' operational excellence and culture of safety. Rather than being confined to a narrow function, their role spans cross-functional collaboration, expert decision-making, and influential advocacy-ensuring that major projects not only meet compliance benchmarks, but also drive innovation, efficiency, and sustainable value across the enterprise.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:



  • Responsible for the implementation of newly revitalized FRC program
  • Develop timelines, budgets, and deliverables while monitoring progress and risks
  • Align initiatives with Buckeye safety standards and organizational priorities
  • Ability to conduct extensive research on relative product trends in order to gain subject matter expertise and critical knowledge specific to projects and their ancillary components
  • Ability to effectively manage resources from afar
  • Makes informed decisions in collaborative manner with key stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with vendor & distributors
  • Partners with supply chain during the sourcing, contracting, and negotiation phases of projects to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance
  • Serves in the capacity of a corporate liaison for regional stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Develops and manages new projects aligned with Buckeye's initiative execution
  • Able to establish KPI's to track vendor performance and resolve delivery and or service issues
  • Collaborates with Change Management to ensure successful project planning, communication, and execution
  • Partners with the Center of Excellence, Supply Chain, and Operations to gain insight and feedback for the overall objective of project


Position Requirements:



  • Preferred Education - Bachelor's degree in business, logistics management, or related field
  • Acceptable Education - associate's degree with a minimum of 5 years in a related field such as Project management, warehousing and material management, supply chain
  • Position may require up to 50% travel but may vary depending on program deployments
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC credentials and Passport for international business travels
  • Field experience in the energy sector is required
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., travel via air
