Senior Technical Marketing Engineer

We have an opportunity for aSenior Technical Marketing Engineer to join ourTechnical Marketing team, based anywhere in the U.S., reporting to the senior manager of Technical Marketing.In this pivotal role, you willengage directly and through content creation with sales teams, prospects, and customers to educate, enable, and increase adoption of our networking, cloud, and security solutions. Collaborating closely withthe Sales organization, Product Management and Marketingyou willdevelop demos, whitepapers, and other content to bridge complex technology with real-world customer value as well as providing demos, workshops, design review sessions and more directly with internal and external customers, while growing your expertise in a highly collaborative team that values creativity, mentorship, and continuous learning.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do



  • Work with sales teams, engaging directly with customers, providing deep technical product and industry knowledge to help drive deals and increase adoption
  • Build technical demos, proof-of-concepts, and lab environments to showcase product capabilities across networking, security, and cloud
  • Create technical marketing content, including reference architectures, solution guides, blogs, and whitepapers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency in customer-facing materials
  • Evaluate customer and market needs to contribute feedback that helps shape product roadmap and messaging


Be Prepared - What You Bring



  • 8+ years of experience in a technical role related to networking, cybersecurity, threat intelligence, software development, cloud operations, or technical marketing
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) solutions, i.e Infoblox, Microsoft, cloud provider services
  • Experience with one or more public clouds: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI. Preference for experience with DDI and/or other cloud networking solutions
  • Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash, with experience building tools, APIs, or automations
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through written content, demos, or presentations while balancing multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, networking, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for learning and the curiosity to explore both the "how" and the "why" behind complex systems


Be Successful - Your Path

First 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Shadow team members on customer engagements. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months: Conduct demos and presentations for customers and prospects; assist on design and solutioning engagements. Contribute technical content in at least one domain, either networking, security, or cloud. Complete Infoblox product training, support launches with content and demo prep, and build relationships across Sales, Product, and Engineering.

One Year: Own sales engagement for an area; proactively work with sales teams to help drive their biggest deals and most critical customers. Share thought leadership, including blogs, presentations, and customer materials, become a key resource in your focus area, and help align product roadmaps through customer feedback.
