Come join our team on a new contract supporting a joint customer Program Office responsible for acquiring the future GEOINT Ground Architecture that will provide the user community with capabilities in a modular, open architecture that provides global, persistent, real-time surveillance and activity-based intelligence information. As a Systems Engineer focusing on Ground System Requirements Management, you will be an integral member of our contractor team, and you will play a critical role in supporting systems engineering and integration efforts within a dynamic and mission-driven Intelligence Community customer environment. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance, adherence to requirements, and alignment with overarching program objectives. The Component Systems Engineer will work closely with program managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet mission needs. Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Systems Engineering Leadership:
- Serve as a technical lead for designated systems engineering efforts, ensuring compliance with standard Systems Engineering & integration (SE&I) processes, including engineering review board processes and practices.
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including requirements, risk assessments, and system performance metrics.
- Work with the project stakeholders and end users to elicit, understand, analyze, and document the requirements for mission systems. Document, analyze, trace, and review complex requirements and work in a cross-functional/cross-thread manner with others to ensure end-to-end development, integration, verification, delivery, deployment and installation activities and ensure requirements closure.
- End-to-End Systems Oversight:
- Oversee systems from an end-to-end perspective, ensuring proper integration, functionality, and performance across all components.
- Coordinate with program managers and developers to ensure system requirements are met and align with broader program goals.
- Cross-Component Coordination:
- Facilitate collaboration between different system components and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
- Support the implementation of thread-based structures within the organization, including solution epics and program epics.
- Data Management and Analysis:
- Provide data management and support, ensuring data strategies, provenance, and optimizations are effectively implemented.
- Performance Optimization:
- Evaluate system performance and identify opportunities for improvement, including faster processing and enhanced product delivery.
- Work with vendors to test and implement innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of Acquisition Processes:
- Support acquisition processes as needed, including contributing to independent government cost estimates and contract documentation.
- Strategic Input:
- Align systems engineering efforts with the organization's long-term vision (e.g., 2035 objectives).
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership regarding system improvements and future capabilities.

Qualifications
Required
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly
- BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+ years of experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end systems engineering and integration lifecycle and the processes, tools, and artifacts used in the development and management of complex systems, including requirements management and analysis, architecture, system design, implementation, verification, validation, test, transition to operations, and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of SAFe agile methodology, agile planning and management concepts, and Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Great customer teaming skills: ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Accomplished written and oral communicator, with the ability to develop various products in multiple formats, and lead and capture technical discussions and outcomes
- Ability to organize, prioritize, schedule, and accomplish a wide variety of tasks with attention to detail
- Demonstrated analysis and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strongly Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with GEOINT systems
- Familiarity with ground systems
- Experience in Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) environments
