Leads cross-functional and cross-opco teams of professionals through all phases of the project lifecycle. Manages and directs projects or initiative to ensure that project(s) are delivered on time, within budget and meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Manages either of the following: Single major initiative, defined as a project that is approved and prioritized on the FedEx Project Approval Committee portfolio or a strategic corporate initiative, or multiple projects of various sizes. Essential Functions
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Science, Business, Finance, or related field required. In addition to minimum experience, high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of experience in a technical or professional position is accepted in lieu of degree. Minimum Experience Five (5) years experience required in a technical or professional environment with at least two (2) years of leading cross-functional projects. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management. Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to anticipate and identify problems and use sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions. Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures related to field operations. Job Conditions Minimal travel required. Pay: $6,854.33 /month - $13,006.09 /month Additional Details: This position must be domiciled in Pittsburgh, PA.
