Here's what you'd do:

  • This position will perform a variety of operations including the assembly & integration of complex electromechanical space flight components.
  • This role involves working directly with engineers on the design and development of new and existing products, to optimize design for manufacturability.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 /hr

Hours: 40 hrs/week

Length: Temp (12 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cable and harness builds, as well as soldering of components.
  • Minimum 4 years of electrical manufacturing/production experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing and prototyping environment.
  • IPC, JSTD, or comparable NASA certifications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Associates Degree in Electronics or Electrical.
  • Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline.
  • Aerospace or Defense industry experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing practices.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Speak clearly and concisely, presenting ideas effectively to individuals or groups.
  • Ability to identify problems and suggest solutions.
  • Demonstrates appropriate computer knowledge.
  • Understands and adheres to established policies, procedures and proper labor charging practices.
  • Must be able to perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment.
  • Must be able to be certified to all IPC, JSTD, or comparable NASA certifications.
  • Must be mechanically inclined and able to work with very fragile electronic assemblies under a microscope.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Willingness to work overtime, shift work, weekends, holidays and some travel.
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
