Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Phoenix, AZ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for safely and efficiently entering, exiting, and diverting trains using a computer-based system.
  • Following SOPs.
  • Monitor and control all automatic trains and guideway activities.
  • Radio communications, monitoring CCTV system, dispatching trains for passenger service.
  • Monitoring system alarms and any other functions that affect the operations of the Sky Train System.
  • Responsible for the power configuration of the Electrical Power System.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all activities on the PHX Sky Train System by use of a shift logbook and pass-downs.
  • Complies with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Maintain necessary certifications and qualifications as they pertain to Central Control Operations.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25/hr + 10% shift differential.

Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd Shift 2:30 pm-10 pm (day off will be during the week)).

Length: Temp to Hire

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with various Computer software.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Air Traffic Controller experience.
  • Can communicate effectively and calmly via radio.
  • Able to communicate clearly.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Adaptability.
  • Stress Management.
  • Must be a Team Player.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • Must be able to sit for long hours (entire shift).
