Project Manager - Financial Services Account - JLL What this job involves:

As a Project Manager for a progressive Financial Services Account, you will manage Projects throughout the Mid-South, with the expectation to manage multiple projects at one time in various phases of development and to meet or exceed established goals including speed to market, data quality & budget. Your primary focus will be on the specific needs of the project, client, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders while also being required to support Team and Client initiatives for process improvement and personal career development. This role involves professional planning and hands-on management/oversight for multiple projects including office and retail upfits, base building improvements, security upgrades, signage change-outs, and ADA improvements while demonstrating full accountability for end-to-end management of projects.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Manage multiple projects at various phases and in various locations, from project identification through planning, design, client approval, permit issuance, construction and financial closeout
  • Lead project teams consisting of architects, design engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, real estate brokers, environmental consultants, client PMO, security, and technology teams
  • Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead and/or Regional Manager for Project Schedule, Budget, and Risk
  • Develop risk management plans and lead teams through established work authorization processes to ensure no impacts to critical equipment or incidents within critical environments
  • Apply top tier project management skills during client interactions to determine client needs and develop project goals and scope of work
  • Oversee and prepare accurate project documentation for all phases of construction including project charter, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, financial funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports
  • Manage vendors (e.g., GC, A&E, Security, signage) to ensure full compliance with all project policies and procedures
  • Complete formal closeout of all projects in less than 60 days after project completion
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in all aspects of design and construction
  • Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management and contract negotiations
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web based applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various phases and locations
  • Experience with construction project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Understanding of vendor management and compliance processes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field
  • LEED or Project Management Professional certification
  • Experience with Financial Services and Retail Banking projects
  • Knowledge of office and retail upfits, base building improvements, security upgrades, signage change-outs, and ADA improvements
  • Experience working in critical environments and managing risk to operations
  • Understanding of financial services industry requirements and compliance standards
  • Experience with client Project Management Organization coordination
  • Knowledge of permit processes and regulatory compliance
