Position Title: Plant Floater - 2nd Shift
Wage: $17.75/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Plant Floater at a company in Lake Geneva, WI. This is a potential to hire position for 2md shift. Apply now! Plant Floater Responsibilities: - Use air-activated guns and belt sanders to remove burrs and blend surface flaws - Maintain specifications and tolerances on parts - Remove excess metal or flaws marked by inspection - Operate wheel equipment to grind gates off casted parts - Inspect casted parts and report any quality issues - Hand dip or operate robots to coat wax molds with slurry and sand - Prepare molds for autoclave and maintain shell equipment - Operate wax presses and finishing machines - Assemble patterns to runners and inspect wax parts for defects - Attach wax parts to trees using hot glue - Maintain clean work environment Requirements for Plant Floater: - Able to lift parts ranging in weight from 10lbs to 55lbs - Able to stand for extended periods of time - Excellent communication skills - Previous knowledge of abrasive cut-off saws or related machinery - Strong attention to detail - Able to multi-task - Mechanical aptitude or previous machine operation experience - Able to read and understand directions in English - Able to use basic hand and power tools elkhornpcs@qpsemployment.com IND022 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
