Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $15.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator for a company in Montgomery, MO. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Obtain copy of production schedule and ensure proper set-up, proper code date and placement, correct film, fill weight, price and all of their specifications) - Inspect machine for cleanliness - maintain sanitary conditions at all times - Set up weight, feed buckets, and vibratory pan - Program packaging machine to accommodate target product - Assist packer in evaluating first 10 bags produced at startup and every changeover thereafter - Operate packaging machines at appropriate speeds. - Periodically monitor weight limits to ensure bags are meeting specifications - Monitor printer characters and blocks to ensure code date is legible and accurate - Communicate with seasoning operators and machine operators to ensure proper product seasoning and coverage - Fulfill all necessary paperwork and reports - Prepare ahead for changeover - have all equipment ready - Maintain clean work area Machine Operator Requirements: - Able to work in fast paced environment - Able to stand up to 12 hours daily - Able to pinch and grasp with fingers and hands throughout shift - Able to push or pull up to 500 pounds occasionally - Able to bend, kneel, squat, and stoop frequently - Able to work with exposure to potatoes and oil - Able to lift up to 50 pounds rarely QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
