*Location:* 3401 Princeton Pike, Lawrence Township, New Jersey, 08648, United States *Schedule:* 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, nights, holidays *Employment Type:* Full-Time *Reports To:* Life Safety/Security Communications Supervisor *What This Job Involves* Are you calm under pressure and passionate about keeping people safe? Join our dynamic, fast-paced operations center as a *Life Safety/Security * *Communications Specialist*, where you'll be the frontline of emergency response and customer service across a global network of facilities. You'll be responsible for: * Receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls * Monitoring access control systems, critical alarms, surveillance cameras, and fire suppression systems * Maintaining situational awareness and supporting global business continuity teams * Coordinating with security, EH&S, facility operations, and crisis management professionals to ensure swift and effective incident response *Key Responsibilities* * Monitor and respond to issues across 20 U.S. sites and 40 international locations * Handle an average of 10 general access calls per hour (e.g., badge lockouts, building access) * Respond to 3-5 life safety calls per month * Research and escalate priority issues using available resources * Dispatch emergency services for security, fire, EMS, and HazMat incidents * Liaise with internal teams and external emergency responders * Create and manage work orders via Corrigo * Monitor video surveillance and multi-site radio systems * Follow Emergency Medical Dispatch guidelines for pre-arrival instructions * Perform accurate data entry across multiple platforms * Skills & Qualifications* *Must-Have Skills:* * Strong customer service and call center experience * Dispatcher experience (911 or Emergency Medical Dispatch preferred) * Familiarity with EverBridge and access control systems * Excellent written and verbal communication * Punctuality and reliability *Bonus Skills & Experience:* * Emergency management or crisis response * Experience in multi-site operations or facilities management *Soft Skills:* * Thick skin and ability to handle constructive feedback * Adaptability to high-pressure environments * Team-oriented with a proactive mindset * Experience Level* *Intermediate* - Ideal for candidates with prior dispatch, call center, or emergency response experience. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
