This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for: a Solutions Developer to join the RingCentral Operations Professional Service Innovations. You will participate in the planning, design, and implementation of custom applications, working with small teams, both onshore and offshore,that consist of architects, engineers, and project managers.

Job Duties:

  • Participate in the planning, definition, and high-level design of software and system integration.

  • Research, identify, and explore software solution alternatives.

  • Translate user stories into technical requirements.

  • Collaborate on systems design and integrations with existing applications, systems, and platforms.

  • Assess technical risks and define mitigations.

  • Engage in a team environment.

  • Help ensure quality by performing code reviews.

  • Work with a third-party vendor.

  • Partner with the Product Manager to design and create user stories and future vision.

  • Participate in sprint planning sessions with the team.

  • Comfortable with customer-facing calls for customer acceptance testing and troubleshooting.

To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

  • Experience designing innovative solutions.

  • Experience in an AWS environment and with microservices architecture.

  • Experience with JavaScript, PostgreSQL, GIT Hub.

  • Knowledgeable with various SLDCs.

  • Experience with HTTP/Rest API.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with software development lifecycle fundamentals and best practices.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Above-average collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to work in a very diverse, multicultural environment.

  • A passion for delivering custom and product projects.

  • Growth mindset.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and training in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of software development.

  • Experience with Node.JS, GitHub, AWS, API Design.

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
