Job Posting-Fostoria Full-time - Hourly

A Grain Admin Assistant will...

ensure the accurate recordings of all grain transactions, ensuring all measuring and weighing procedures are followed, all documents are retained and organized. Provide excellent customer service to the cooperative's standards.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Daily record keeping involving accurate recordings of all grain transactions involving the elevator and customer.
• Organize data for trains, and communications required to finalize train processes.
• Information and processes communicated with scale house, marketer, and operations manager.
• Organized records kept for audit purposes
• Maintain an attitude that promotes team work and a favorable image of the cooperative.
• Uphold all Legacy Farmers Cooperative's Policies.
• This position will work in conjunction with the branch staff to carry out the plans of the grain work load.
• Must be able to work well with others and independently.
• Possess basic understanding of marketing skills to handle customer calls and hedging of activity.
• Will be required to work as a team to cover duties of another Admin. Assist. or truck house as needed.
• Obtain a full understanding of products we offer our customers, included but not limited to Contracts, Options, Advances, etc.

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent with additional business background.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong communication skills. Involves customers as well as grain division personnel.
• Proficient computer and phone skills. Documentation of communications, proficient with excel and office.
• Obtain and hold a Grain Grading License.
• Working knowledge of ag business, a plus.
