Join our team as a Project Coordinator!

Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for driving projects forward? We're looking for a Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Project Management Office (PMO) and support initiatives that align with our credit union's strategic goals.

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope. From maintaining project documentation to coordinating and supporting team collaboration, you'll be an essential part of delivering high-quality results that drive business value.

You'll lead small teams, manage resources, coordinate schedules, and provide vital administrative and reporting support-helping keep our projects on track and aligned with organizational priorities.

Location: Lake Forest, Illinois (hybrid/flexible work schedule, 2-3 days/week onsite). Local Northern IL/Southeastern WI candidates only!

Key Responsibilities:



  • Administer and maintain project management systems, including user setup, permissions, schedules, and templates.
  • Provide end-user training and support, ensuring materials are up-to-date and effective.
  • Develop and manage PMO documentation and generate reports to support leadership decisions.
  • Organize team meetings, track progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules, resources, and workloads to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist with issue resolution and coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and other visual project tracking tools.


What You Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field


    • 4+ years of experience in project coordination or a related field in lieu of a degree


  • 1+ year of experience in project coordination, project planning, or process improvement
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High proficiency and comfort level with project management tools, computer systems and software applications
  • A proactive mindset with a knack for problem-solving and collaboration
  • Comfort supporting system users and helping others navigate tools and workflows


      Compensation:

      The salary range for this role is $55,867 to $83,801 per year. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time.
