The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor position is responsible for planning, procurement, storage, controlling and distribution to meet company objectives and customer requirements. This position is also responsible for contributing to a safe workplace and minimizing negative impacts by complying with the EHS policies, procedures, work instructions outlined in the EHSMS Training Assessment for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise operations of shipping and receiving department, ensuring customer requirements are met and EDI transactions are completed in a timely manner.
2. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of receiving operations and work with Material Coordinator/Materials Administrator.
3. Interface with suppliers including outside subcontractors to ensure smoother flow of parts in a timely manner.
4. Track finished goods inventory levels and issue reports as needed.
5. Interface to maintain a smooth production schedule with the proper priorities of parts with enough lead time and visibility of schedule to ensure efficient and timely production.
6. Supervise activities relating to receipt of empty dunnage and/or offsite storage services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in materials management or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: * Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
* A minimum of four years supervisory experience preferred.
* Must have previous experience or training on a personal computer and printer and utilize word processing and computer spreadsheets.
* Ability to work well with customers, outside suppliers, intragroup suppliers and various internal company personnel.
* Well organized; able to manage a great deal of detailed information in a timely manner. Able to meet schedule demands for a large variety of complex situations

• Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• On a continuous basis must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to make occasional trips to manufacturing sites and customers by air and by automobile. Duration from one to five days.
• Able to be on call 24/7 for customer and manufacturing sites.
• Able and willing to work around fuel mixtures, moving parts, and electrical power.
