Accounts Payable Supervisor

What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

• Leading and coaching two (2) Accounts Payable Team Members to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial transactions.
• Managing and executing the annual 1099M reports for vendors and the IRS.
• Assuring the accuracy of the accounting entries to the subledger and reconcile with the general ledger.
• Evaluating current process of invoicing with a continual process improvements.
• Preparing complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future expenses.
• Communicating with internal and external customers on escalated inquiries with high level customer service support.

What we are looking for...

You will need to have:

• 5+ years of previous accounts payable
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of the 1099M process
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Experience working in a transportation environment
• General knowledge around continuous improvement or lean concepts
• Knowledge of SEC and other government regulations
• Previous experience utilizing Oracle
• Knowledge of SOX regulations
