MHS is currently seeking a Campus Safety Supervisor to provide frontline leadership to Campus Safety Officers while on duty. The supervisor assists the Director of Campus Safety in managing all operational responsibilities of the department, including but not limited to patrol services, investigations, reviewing reports, scheduling, training, and programming. Also, assumes responsibility and provides guidance to Central Monitoring in the absence of the Manager or the Associate Director. Key Responsibilities: Position details: Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree required; alternatively, 8 years of law enforcement/security experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role * SRO (School Resource Officer certification or the ability to obtain within 3 months) * Valid PA driver's license with excellent driving record * First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days) * Concealed Carry Permit from county of residence * PA Act 235 certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months) * Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws * Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills * High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication * Public speaking and collaborative communication abilities * Proven ability to develop policies and implement improvements * Sound judgment in emergency situations * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Proficiency with security technology (e.g., Microsoft Office, radios, cameras, access systems) * Experience working with youth and underserved populations is a plus Why Join MHS?
