We are seeking a Technical Product Training Materials Specialist to support the Space Force's Rapid Resilient Command and Control (R2C2) Program. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality eLearning (CBT) assets for a Department of Defense (DoD) training program. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with technical teams and development partners across the program.

*This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates located near one of our FTI office locations.*



Responsibilities

    Researches, designs, and implements training materials using various multi-media channels, including digital and paper-based.
  • Writes, designs, edits, and maintains training materials.
  • Explains complex product information to non-technical audiences.
  • Maximizes the effectiveness of training materials by researching training methodologies, learning tools, and practices.
  • Coordinates publication and dissemination of materials.
  • Works with software development teams and subject matter experts to write requirement documents for new Internal Research & Development (IR&D) efforts.
  • Plans and coordinates user testing of FTI software.
  • Facilitates user feedback on FTI tools.
  • Creates storyboards, prototypes, and learning assets.


Education/Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain U.S. Dept. of Defense security clearance as needed.
  • BS/BA in Adult Education, Instructional Design, English, Writing, communications, or curriculum development.
  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or software training development.
  • Strong understanding of the Instructional Design (ISD) process.
  • Strong understanding of ADDIE and SAM development models.
  • Strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong experience with course authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.

Preferred:

  • Background in software development environments or defense-related technologies.
  • U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret, TS, or TS/SCI Security Clearance.

For this role, the annual compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($63K-$85K)*.

*Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
