Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with proven experience in test procedure development to support verification and validation of mission-critical defense systems. This role will lead the planning and execution of test activities, ensuring compliance with DoD and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the development, review, and approval of system-level and subsystem-level test procedures
  • Coordinate with design engineering, quality assurance, and program management to ensure test coverage and compliance
  • Manage test readiness reviews (TRRs) and test execution schedules
  • Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders and customers
  • Mentor junior engineers in test methodology and documentation best practices


Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or physics discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and test procedure development in a defense or aerospace environment.
  • Strong knowledge of verification planning, DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD test methodologies (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary test teams
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) for test program tracking
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000
