We're hiring: Electrical Engineer III at Interstates Lead complex, constructable electrical designs from concept through startup and commissioning while partnering closely with clients and field teams to deliver successful outcomes. What you'll do: * Own end-to-end project design and delivery * Identify risks early and engineer proactive solutions * Coordinate multi-discipline work, set priorities, and delegate effectively * Drive communication across design teams, field, clients, vendors, utilities, and governing agencies to ensure alignment and clarity. * Plan and execute site visits; troubleshoot alongside field personnel * Conduct peer reviews and approve drawings (PE stamping if applicable) * Mentor teammates and champion standards improvements across teams What you bring: * Strong electrical experience and proven project delivery * Ability to lead multi-discipline efforts and facilitate effective meetings * Clear, proactive communication and client-facing confidence * Hands-on exposure to panel shop, prefabrication, or field work * Project engineering certification (EIT/PE) is a plus Education, licensing, and experience: * B.S. in engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year program * 4-8 years of relevant, progressively responsible engineering experience (or equivalent education/experience) * Professional Engineer (PE) license, or eligibility to become licensed/registered in at least one governing authority * Knowledge of electrical terms, components, symbols, and the NEC. * Preferred: proficiency with drafting software for design and execution. * Ideal: proven success managing complex projects, collaborating across teams, and applying engineering principles to deliver practical solutions. Travel: * Travel required up to 30% based on business needs Compensation: The pay range for this position is $76,800 to $105,600+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.
