Job Highlights

The Master Planner is responsible for translating the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) strategy into executable plans within SAP, ensuring supply chain alignment across the plant and warehouse network. This role partners with production, procurement, customer service, marketing, and planning teams to manage short- and mid-term schedules, oversee inventory and stock transfers, and maintain product availability to meet customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

    • Translate S&OP plans into SAP planned orders with accuracy for M1-M3 horizons and apply interpretation for M4-M6 horizons to guide production and raw material procurement.

    • Manage MRP processes at the plant and warehouse by overseeing Stock Transport Orders (STOs), coordinating transportation, maintaining inventory levels, and resolving issues to support demand fulfillment.

    • Track and trace orders, identify operational inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement in planning and inventory management.

    • Administer product allocation for constrained items by maintaining allocation files, managing order acceptance, and leading weekly alignment meetings with marketing and cross-functional teams.

    • Communicate production and inventory impacts to customer service, marketing, and the S&OP Planner to ensure inventory accuracy and demand alignment.

Experience and Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or operations planning.

  • Bachelor's degree or APICS CPIM certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of planning methods, statistical approaches, and ERP systems (SAP experience strongly preferred).

  • Proficiency in Excel and supportive planning tools.

  • High degree of accuracy, analytical ability, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to manage complex planning tasks across multiple time horizons.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the autonomy to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

  • Effective communicator, able to coordinate across cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
