We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern to join our Energy Marketing and Midstream team. As a Data Science/Data Analytics Intern, you will collaborate with the Energy Marketing team to analyze data, uncover insights, and support decision-making processes. This internship provides hands-on experience with real-world datasets, advanced analytical tools, and industry-specific challenges. It's an excellent opportunity to apply your technical skills, gain exposure to energy markets, and contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.

  • Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within business data to support decision-making.

  • Develop data visualization dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively.

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to energy marketing, including pricing, supply/demand trends, and market performance.

  • Document methodologies, findings, and recommendations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Technical Exposure:

  • Application of technical skills acquired in college to real-world scenarios.

  • Advanced computer proficiency, with the ability to optimize and automate processes.

  • Curious and eager to explore AI, data, and technology, with opportunities to engage with emerging digital tools and innovations.

Education:

  • Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related discipline.

  • College level: Sophomore, Junior

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of data analysis and data visualization.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.

  • Interest in business operations and technology-driven solutions.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively.
