OVERVIEW

Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Electrical Engineering student for a paid summer internship for the Summer of 2026 for our Greenwood Village, CO office. Must have graduation date after August 2026 to be eligible.

The summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through mid-August 2026.

We will be accepting resumes for this opportunity from approximately September - October 2025. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. Interviews will take place in the Fall/Winter. Offers will be extended in Winter/Spring. Timeframe subject to change.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Merrick Intern Program will provide an undergraduate or graduate student an opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C). Our intern will be exposed to a variety of EI&C experiences and tasks including, but not limited to, facility electrical power, gloveboxes, hot cells, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, communication systems, and low voltage power distribution.

This intern will collaborate with other disciplines, interface with clients and contractors, follow schedules and budget commitments, effectively communicate to solve problems, and work independently. Must meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have graduation date after August 2026 to be eligible.
  • Must be pursuing an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Must be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad school.
  • Client projects for this position require US Citizenship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of electrical, lighting, and/or power system design.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Local Candidates Preferred.
