Job Summary

The Research Assistant will work closely with Professor Mike Brown to coordinate all community-building activities for 3CPE. In addition, they will provide instrument maintenance support for the laboratories of Professors Tejada, Farley, and Asimow.

Essential Job Duties
  • Support administrative tasks for 3CPE.
  • Manage 3CPE website.
  • Organize 3CPE events.
  • Support lab instrument maintenance in Tejada and Farley labs.
  • Support lab experiments and instrument runs on ToF Mass Spectrometer in Asimow lab.
Basic Qualifications
  • Master's in Earth Science or STEM field.
  • Familiarity with mass spectrometers like the EA-IRMS and ToF-MS.
  • Wet lab experience in sample prep for measurements on the above instruments.
  • Administrative and event planning experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of organic geochemistry.
  • Knowledge or participation in 3CPE activities.

Hiring Range

$21.50 to $25.75 per hour

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
