Hybrid - Torrance, CA

Moog Military Aircraft, Global Sustainment team is looking for a Senior Program Manager, to manage of customers from an international landscape with particular focus on Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore. Reporting to our International Military Sustainment Business Unit Director (Wolverhampton, UK Operations). You will have a 9/80 work schedule with a hybrid work option. This position is at our aerospace plant in Torrance, California.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will:

  • Manage of Customers from an International landscape with particular focus on Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore.

  • Lead the execution of international aftermarket repair programs, spares programs, ensuring timely and cost effective delivery to customer requirements.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer engagement including program status updates, performance reviews and issue resolution.

  • Manage program budgets, forecasts and earned value metrics incorporating financial and operational performance.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, operations, quality and contracts to ensure alignment on priorities.

  • Support business growth through proposal development, pricing strategies, business capture campaigns and customer negotiations.

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.

  • Achieve program/project objectives through effective application of program management principles within the confines of scope schedule and budget defined by the program/project sponsor.

  • Achieve timely resolution of outstanding issues through effective day-to-day communications with the customer, Moog management, and internal functional organizations.

  • Able to conduct Domestic and International Travel approximately 10% of the time.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business

  • Minimum 2+ years of program management, project management or related experience

  • Experience with working with International Customers and awareness of the cultural environment

  • Proven leadership experience, excellent listening and persuasive skills

  • Demonstrated team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of customer orientation

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on delivery, quality and financial performance

  • Requires access to US Export Controlled information

  • Ability to present program information to customers and other groups of people; ability to navigate high pressure situations

  • Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills

Salary Range Transparency:

Torrance, CA $130,000.00-$160,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
