As the Manager Accounting-Revenue, you would be responsible for the accurate and timely close of the general ledger revenue each month according to GAAP. The Revenue Accounting function focuses on revenue recognition to ensure that all revenue streams, including patient services, insurance reimbursements, and government programs, are accurately accounted for in compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations. This role requires the oversight of a team responsible for the functional administration of Kodiak RCA software, journalizing activity, analyzing results, and partnering with hospital leadership to explain results, Our Managers assume a high level of responsibility and integrity within Main Line Health, and they collaborate as a team with applicable cross-training to ensure mutual support and seamless operation across the Finance area. Position: Manager Accounting-Revenue Shift: Day. Hybrid.
Experience: * Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the healthcare sector. * Knowledge and experience of Kodiak RCA software is strongly preferred. * Advanced proficiency in accounting software and general ledger systems (ie. EPIC, PeopleSoft) * Excellent knowledge of GAAP, regulatory requirements, and healthcare specific accounting standards. * Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in financial reporting and account reconciliation. * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams. * Proven ability to lead with agility and foster a culture of innovation. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
Licensures/Certifications: CPA is preferred.
